Bello and I are delighted to open, and to welcome everyone to the 2020 Equine Industry Symposium, being hosted by the students and faculty members of the University of Guelph.
In earlier years, the symposia have considered questions such as establishing professional standards, increasing youth engagement, strengthening good governance, and stewarding change in a frenetic world.
In 2020, there is only one subject it could possibly address: how are we going to make it through the pandemic, and what kind of world should we try to rebuild on the other side.
