Vanga masala is a maharashtrian recipe. My mother in law told me this recipe. This method is followed in Satara side of Maharashtra. This is very easy and simple recipe. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 4~5 Bringles
• 2 big finely chopped Onions
• 1/2 cup Roasted peanut powder
• Salt to taste
• 4~5 shredded Garlic cloves
• 1 tbsp Kanda lasun masala
• 1 tbsp Red chili powder
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Oil
Method:
• In a bowl take onion.
• Add roasted peanut powder, coriander leaves, kanda lasun
masala, red chili powder, garlic and salt to taste.
• Mix everything well together.
• Add a little water and make thick mixture so as to fill it easily in
bringle.
• Do not add much water. 2-3 tsp water is enough.
• Take bringle and cut off its stalk. Do not cut the stalk completely.
• Give a plus sign shape cut to bringle. Do not cut the bringle
completely.
• Stuff the masala in the bringles.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Drop all the left over masala in hot oil and mix well.
• Fry the masala well for about 4-5 minutes.
• Add the stuffed bringles and coat them well with masala.
• Cover and steam the bringles for about 3-4 minutes.
• Remove the lid and mix the sabzi once.
• Add hot water and mix well.
• Cover and cook on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until
bringles get well cooked.
• Open the lid and flip the bringles over at the intervals so that
these get cooked well from all sides.
• Turn off the gas and vanga masala is already.
• You can have this vanga masala with jawar flour bhakari.
