This is fun and fair which takes place in Mahim every year on the occasion of the Urs festival of Hazrat Makhdoom Ali Mahimi (R.A.).
During the annual ten day Urs festival celebrated on the 13th day of Shawwal as per the Muslim calendar, millions of devotees visit his dargah.
It is a ten day fest and you will find giant wheel or ferris wheel also called as bombay ka jhoola or Mumbai ka jhoola, roller coaster rides and different types of amusement rides and you will find shops of toys, bangles, gift items, food items, cold drinks, sweet shop and much more. The place near the dargah is fully occupied with stalls of different items and all the space in the fair is also fully occupied by stalls or by visitors and the crowd is huge. People from different parts of the country come to enjoy this fest.
This fair is hugely popular and I have been visiting this fair since my childhood and now there are lot of improvements in the fair.
