The migrant route across the Strait of Gibraltar is seeing more fatalities according to the International Organisation for Migration. Whilst migrant deaths on the central Mediterranean route between Libya and Italy have seen deaths fall compared to last year, fatalities in Moroccan, Algerian and Spanish waters have doubled.
