Groundbreakings for a new Glenridge Area Middle School in Landover and a replacement building for William Wirt Middle School in Riverdale are the first in what will be nine schools under construction by summer 2021. Through the Capital Improvement Program and Alternative Construction Financing, PGCPS is replacing aging school buildings with state of the art learning facilities.
