The Golden Pups have returned to BarkPark for the remainder of their distemper quarantine.
We are not yet out of the woods.
The pups are still very much underweight. Still getting daily medication, supplements and fluids.
Distemper is a marathon, and we still have a few months until we get the all clear from their veterinarian.
Feeding and cleaning up after them requires at the minimum a changing of clothes and complete scrubbing from head to toe. More often than not, multiple decontamination showers per day.
We will be starting immune boosting therapy this week. We have been consulting with UC Davis on their continuing care for weeks now, so we are certain we are doing everything we can for them.
Little Betty remains the worst of the bunch, so send her a little extra something in your prayers, she is so emaciated.
