20 people were killed in a gunfight between suspected cartel members and security forces in northeastern Mexico on Saturday, according to the state government of Coahuila.
The battle broke out between police and suspected members of the 'Cartel of the Northeast' (CDN) in the town of Villa Union, about 40 miles south of the US border town of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Footage from the scene shows a local municipal building and vehicles riddled with bullet holes.
