Tania Merolla thought she had figured out how to navigate High School… until her life was turned upside down just days after her first semester of Senior year due to an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation). Suddenly, doctor visits, physical therapy, and intense medical jargon replaced high school, theatre, and superhero movies. In this inspiring TEDx Talk, hear Tania's story of resilience and perseverance as she shares how she adapted to her new reality and discovered that changing her pace was key to finding her footing after the unexpected. Learn how Tania’s journey can inspire you to overcome your own challenges and find strength in the face of adversity. Tania Merolla is a Communication Studies Junior at the University of Nevada - Las Vegas, set to graduate in 2025. Tania adores the creative arts, namely writing and acting. After an unexpected event in the middle of 12th grade in 2018, her path diverted into one vastly different from what she originally planned as an 18-year-old. But, the lessons she learned will continue to help her grow throughout her life. In her free time, Tania participates in acting, writes (lately, lots of screenwriting), creates and edits short form videos for her various internships, watches every superhero film possible, and spends time with her family (including a very playful dog named Tina). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
