How to get someone to change their behavior. Persuading others to change their behavior is not so much about changing people’s minds as it is conveying information and allowing people to process it to arrive at the same conclusion you have.Behavior is motivated by beliefs, if you want some one to change behavior than you'll have to get them to change their mind,
We as humans do not like feeling as if our behavior or choices are dictated to us by someone else, so if you want to convince someone that something is a good idea, you can’t just tell them it’s a good idea and they should believe it - you have to be able to show them the same information you have and let them make up their mind about it.
