On Wednesday, the 31st of August, the RBTU imposed yet another 4th-generation train ban. Because of this, suburban frequencies were running low, so Sydney Trains deployed a 4-carriage V set on the suburban T9 northern line to cope with the line's capacity. As far as I'm aware, V sets have never stopped at most Northern line stations for passenger use in history, making this a very rare and unusual sight. The set also later went into the City Circle, but I was sadly unable to capture it.
