Farsi Puri
Ingredients:
Maida: 1 ½ cup (180 gm)
Ghee: 4 tsp
Cumin Powder: 1 tsp
Pepper Powder: 1 tsp
Ajwain: ½ tsp
Rice Flour: 2 tsp
Salt: As per taste
Method:
1. In a bowl add maida, cumin powder, pepper powder, ajwain, salt to taste and ghee. Mix it well. Then add some water and prepare semi-soft dough. Give it rest for half an hour.
2. In a bowl add ghee, rice flour and mix it well and prepare paste.
3. Now make the balls from the dough and roll it like big roti. Then spread the paste over it then cover another roti on top of that and spread the paste again. Now add the third roti on top of roti and spread the paste over it and make a roll of it. Then cut in to hlaf inch piece.
4. Roll it like small puri.
5. Now in a medium heated oil fry puri on a low to medium flame for 7-8 minutes until it becomes golden brown. Here your crispy farsi puri is ready.
