We need Joe Biden to be a Plastic Free President! The presidential plastics action plan is a compilation of 8 actions that President Elect Joe Biden can take without congress to reduce unnecessary single use plastic in his first year in office.
This action plan has been organized and endorsed by over 500 organizations. These actions will put us on the path forward to reducing plastic pollution, protecting our air and drinking water, and addressing plastics impact on climate change.
Recently I participated in the presidential plastics action plan press conference to urge Joe Biden and his team to take action to address our growing accumulation of plastic in our lives and the environment. I spoke on the unstandardized harmful chemicals placed in plastic and the pervasiveness of microplastics.
