Recommended calcium requirement for the human body is 1200mg/dl in a day.
Sources for calcium:
(1) Skimmed milk
(2) Slaked lime (chuna)- used in paan, can be consumed in water
(3) Sarson ka saag- it carries 3000 mg of calcium in 100gms
(4) Leafy vegetables like Chaulai ka saag (800 mg), methi (440 mg), and lotus stem (405 mg) consist high amount of calcium
(5) Finger millet (ragi) consists of 344 mg calcium in 100gms
(6) Soya milk and tofu have 340 mg and 270 mg calcium composition respectively
(7) Pulses like Rajma, soybean, moong, and chana are rich sources of calcium consisting of more than 200 mg of calcium content
(8) Kulthi dal has 300 mg content (approx)
(9) White beans, black gram, bathua, Pea, and orange also have calcium content.
