Clashes took place between police and anti-lockdown demonstrators in London this afternoon. Protesters were calling for an end to covid restrictions. Save Our Rights UK, the grassroots movement which organised the demo, dubbed the rally “Unite for Freedom – Time for Action”. The Metropolitan Police had warned people planning to protest against the lockdown they risk arrest.
