Facebook Tip 1: Save for later:
You can choose to bookmark links, videos, photos, gallery on your Facebook app as you scroll through content for later viewing. That is, you can just store links to content you want to view later on Facebook and then come back any time to read content or watch videos that you wanted to. There is a ‘saved’ tab under your profile options within Facebook app, that let’s you do that.
Facebook Tip 2: Profile Picture Guard
Facebook now gives you the ability to guard your profile picture. The app protects your profile picture from being downloaded by other people. It lets only you and your friends on Facebook to be able to tag on that picture. It also gives a nice shield icon underneath your profile picture frame on Facebook to convey the message to others that you want them to respect your profile picture.
Facebook Tip 3: Prioritize your newsfeed with content from specific pages/friends
On Facebook, you no longer need to be frustrated with looking at content that you don’t want to see. In fact, you can prioritize content from pages and/or friends that are important so that only their content comes up first. Facebook gives a lot of control to users over what content they want to see more.
You can go into profile page, then under settings look for News Feed Preferences and then tap on prioritize who to see first. You can select friends and pages that you want to appear first in your newsfeed when you open your Facebook app.
Facebook Tip 4: Search Facebook’s open graph with natural language
On Facebook, you can search for content in a very natural manner. You can just type whatever it is that you are looking for & Facebook utilizes its open graph mechanism to give you results basis your query.
Facebook Tip 5: Download all Facebook data
If you are planning on quitting Facebook and want to archive or save all Facebook data, you can do that by going under ‘Settings’ for your profile and then hitting General. You will get the option to download all Facebook Data.
Facebook Tip 6: Unfollow your friends without unfriending them!
Facebook Tip 7: On This Day
Facebook's "On This Day" feature shows your activity on its social network on the same day from years past. Think of it like your personal time capsule on Facebook.
Only you see your "On This Day" activity, and you can find the feature from the link Facebook.com/onthisday. Facebook also lets you hide certain people from showing up in your past activity, which is helpful for not seeing memories of your ex.
