Have you ever wondered what it would be like to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania WITHOUT VFX? We imagine it would look a little something like this! The Marvel Cinematic Universe relies heavily on CGI for this movie, and yet their VFX artists have since come out to say that the Walt Disney Company and Marvel was giving a bigger priority to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever! This may have even had an effect on the way that the CGI in the movie turned out. Still, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is still a fun sci fi romp starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, who you may just recognize from his time on SNL, or from his more recent appearance on Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Jonathan Majors takes on the role of Kang the Conqueror, who has been announced to be the next big villain on Marvel’s Phase Five. Jonathan Majors previously appeared as He Who Remains on Loki, a precursor to his appearance in this film, although he has also managed to make a name for himself working on Creed 3 and Lovecraft Country. Evangeline Lilly reprises her role as Hope Van Dyne or the Wasp, although you may also recognize her as a part of the Lord of the Rings universe from her time on Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit. Michelle Pfeiffer appears in this movie as Janet Van Dyne, Hope’s mother, although the actress is already famous from her roles in movies such Tim Burton’s Batman Returns and the musical Hairspray.
