Sheppey is stepped in history and culture, so let's learn some facts about this British island.
The Isle of Sheppey is an island off the Kent coast and is a popular caravan destination. You might know that fact. But there are facts about the island that you probably don't know. Did you know that the first British powered flight by a British citizen took place on Sheppey in 1909? Or that for a brief few days in 1667, the Dutch occupied the island and used the island's weapons? Those are just two of the facts in this video.
Also, I made this video whilst travelling to the island and the leisure park, and so I thought I'd share some facts about the island that I researched on the journey. I'd also like to apologise for making this video on iMovie and not on Camtasia Studio as I was travelling.
