Today is day 15 of our 30 day yoga challenge and I am going to show you how to use your yoga blocks to do crow pose, for upper back and shoulder pain, and a cool yoga block trick for a great ab workout. In this video of yoga block poses, I am going to show you how to do crow pose with your yoga block. I will show you four variations that will help you build the strength over time so that you can come into full crow pose. Crow pose has many benefits including building strength in your arms, crow pose is a fabulous yoga pose for your abs, it will strengthen your inner thighs and create focus and concentration.
The second yoga pose with a block that I am going to show you how to do in this video is thread the needle pose. Using the yoga blocks in this pose is a great modification for neck and shoulder pain. The benefits of thread the needle pose with the blocks are that it stretches your shoulders to release shoulder pain. It stretches your chest to open your chest. It is a great yoga pose for your upper back and neck. If you are looking for a way to incorporate your yoga block to loosen your shoulder tension and pain, then you are going to appreciate this yoga pose with the block.
Finally we are going to do a yin yoga pose with the blocks called melting heart pose. This pose will also open up the shoulders. This backbend with your yoga blocks is great for posture and softens the tension that you may hold in your upper back.
