(16 Aug 2019) Chinese paramilitary police could be seen Friday gathered at the Shenzhen Stadium which is located next to a bridge linking Mainland China to Hong Kong.
Dozens of Chinese armoured personnel carriers were also parked in the area in what some have interpreted as a threat from Beijing to use increased force against pro-democracy protesters across the border in Hong Kong.
