Yeah, I know, the footage is from Ultimate MK3, but the "FROSTY" egg originated in the original MK3.

Here the Sub Zero brothers freeze each other repeatedly. For those unfamiliar with klassic MK, if you tried to freeze an opponent who was already frozen, as a penalty and to prevent the ability from being abused, you became the frozen one, and your now-unfrozen opponent was now free to do whatever they wish.

In MK3, when someone is frozen when their life meter is in Danger, Dan Forden, best known as the "TOASTY!" guy, drops in and says "FROSTY!" I couldn't find high quality videos of this so I decided to upload one myself.

So in MKII they gave us "TOASTY!"
In MK3 they gave us "FROSTY!"
In UMK3 they gave us "KRISPY!"
And finally in MK4 they gave us "TOASTY 3D!"
Gotta love Dan Forden.
