Egyptian Rapid Deployment Forces (RDF)

ERDF is one of the branches of the Egyptian Armed Forces. It was formed in March 2014 and was attended by first lining up her then-Defense Minister Field Marshal Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, and the Colonel General Sedki Sobhi defense minister now .as he was the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces at the time.
It is airborne troops with the formation of a special , characterized by high capacity and the nature of work and private armed according to the latest global armament systems. Forces comprising the most efficient elements of the Mechanized Infantry , armored vehicles, air defense , artillery and anti-tank guided weapons , in addition to the elements of reconnaissance , military police and a number of fighter jets and special forces equipped for Landing operation and equipped with the latest weapons and equipment.
