One of just 14 Delahaye 135 Competition cars ever made, chassis 47186 is one of even fewer to survive, impeccably preserved and with complete original coachwork and rare electron gearbox. Campaigned by Equipe Menier in the 1936 and 1937 French Grand Prix seasons, it was also driven post-war in the 1952 Mille Miglia and Monaco Grand Prix. Piloted by Le Mans winner Rene Cotton, 47186 battled with cars 16 years its junior, nipping at the heels of young Peter Collins in a DB3S to come an astonishing 8th place. Preserved for decades in the renowned collections of Serge Possoli, Abba Kogan and Lord Anthony Bamford, this beautiful 135 CS is fresh off 2020, and 2021 Mille Miglia appearances and 2021 Goodwood Revival competition - race and rally ready with current papers, eligible for the world's greatest events.
