Mayor Robert Garcia and City staff give a briefing on the newest safety precautions to be followed throughout the City of Long Beach. As recommended by the Long Beach Health Department and Governor Gavin Newsom, limited social contact is in effect. The City is preparing to release a list of current restaurants that will provide delivery or takeout only to its customers. Libraries, theaters, City Hall and other public facilities are currently scheduled to close, with the exception of homeless centers, senior centers and schools that will continue to provide limited services.
