Video explains everything about this special Porsche GT2 RS Clubsport. This car is #87 of 200 cars made for the world. Only 44 of these cars made it into the US according to Porsche Motorsport North America. The application process was lengthy and only a select few received the opportunity to purchase this amazing race car. The 2019 Porsche GT2 RS Clubsport has 700HP with 553 ft-lb of torque (205 mph top speed) and is approximately 300 lbs lighter than the GT2 RS sold by Porsche for the street. The car is provided by Porsche Motorsport with a completely different race suspension system and brake system than the street car. The distilled water tank (used for condensation cooling of the turbo intercooler) is also 5 gallons instead of the 2 gallon tank and there is a special fuel cell and roll cage that meets FIA requirements for racing. Bottom-line ... this car is an amazing track monster! The car features are explained in detail including all the extra options such as passenger seat with 5 point harness, custom floor mats, SRO kit (additional air ducts on splitter, front fender extenders, carbon fiber covered foam protector for driver, and pressure measure line), 12-volt outlet for radar detector... haha... or your phone to display Waze, front/rear magnetic license plate mounts, rear plate has light pipe to direct light around and on rear license plate, horn programmed into steering wheel programmable button, VBox data and video recorder, Motec data recorder with display that includes rear view camera, two-way communication race team radio, full XPel wrap covered by custom livery designed by myself, Amy McMath, and Lucas Dobie, DOT approved tires, and transponder. All street legal parts (magnetic license plates, DOT approved tires, passenger seat, and horns) are quickly removed for competitive track use. The car is the only GT2 RS Clubsport that has a title, registration, and US state inspection sticker. This car was also one of five GT2 RS Clubsports entered into the first inaugural SRO/FIA GT Sports Club series race in 2020. The GT Sports Club Series was combined with the GT World Challenge America Series due to the low turnout with COVID. The car, with Karl Leinsing as the driver, finished 3rd and 4th overall and 1st in Titanium class for both races at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). The entire race was televised and links are below to the race and Wikipedia documenting the race finish and positions. The car was only entered into two SRO races and attended the Porsche Sportscar Together Fest at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) in September 2021. Otherwise the car has been meticulously maintained, serviced, cleaned, and stored in a heated and environmentally controlled garage. Current mileage is 2,907 as of January 26, 2022. The decals, livery, and XPel wrap can all be removed (including over headlights) that protects the entire car, which is painted white with exposed carbon fiber hood, roof, engine cover, wing, and rear bumper. The livery is very special on this car to mimic the Porsche Factory RSR team with our own special enhancements. The vinyl wrap above rear bumper is a print image of carbon fiber that was scaled, printed, and orientated to match the authentic carbon fiber on the rear bumper. The windshield was always covered with film as well, so there is no sand blasting, chips, or pits in the windshield. Front splitter and wheel nuts were replaced with new, so car is in as new condition with many extras!
