Today we take a look at one of the oldest toys at Sunnyside Daycare, the Chatter Phone, or Chatter as he goes by in the film. He of course tries to warn Woody when he first arrives and then explains to Woody how to escape. He has a really cool film-noir type New Yorker voice and looks vintage and a little worn, which I think adds so much to his character in the film and on the shelf. Of course he’s confident that he will never be broken, however Lotso and his thugs do “break” him both physically and mentally so they can get the information he told Woody out of him. At the end of the movie, we see that he has been repaired and is dancing and happy once again in the new Sunnyside Paradise. The toy itself is a vintage Fisher Price toy that they still sell! A total classic both inside and outside of the movie. I highly recommend for a Toy Story Collection!
