A video and 4 still photos of the 4km long glacier, between 1950 and 2900 metres above sea level. The glacier is receding, probably due to global warming, and has a smooth, gently sloping front, which is typical of glaciers in recession. The nearby Susten Pass (2264m / 7428ft) affords a great view of the glacier on the south side. This road was finished in 1945 and includes a 300m long tunnel.
