David was going to give a brief talk, but ended up keeping the audience enthralled for nearly two hours; most of which is reflected here, though I'm afraid you miss the preamble.


UK PINFEST is proud to be the UK's only dedicated pinball show, in 2024 showcasing over 150 machines all set to FREE Play.

Pioneering Women's & Children's tournaments, hosting Classics, NBA-Challenge & The UK Pinfest Open Competitions, as well as raising money for charity, UK Pinfest only exists because of the hard work and personal sacrifice by the oft' underappreciated volunteers, supporters and repair techs.

My apologies about the audio quality in the first couple of minutes; that was entirely a PEBCAC issue and on me. The lack of focus at the end is also entirely my fault, but in my defence I was on the other side of the hotel busily forging competition entries at the time (don't ask).

Perhaps more controversial, is the screen replacement I've done in the video. The recording of the projector screen, predictably, turned out even more abysmal than I'd hoped (google "recording single-chip dlp projectors" for more). I've replaced the screen primarily with the visuals used during the presentation, and I hope the method allows you to see both the screen as well as what David is pointing at without being too distracting. I have deviated from reality in a few spots, in an aim to better illustrate what David is talking about, and to give some idea of the immense range of games Barry Ousler has been involved in.
