‘Friends & Family’ is the beating heart of electrocaïne, the story of a group of friends from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, but bounded by one common and utmost passion, Music. These sharing of ideas, thoughts and emotions, flourished into a vibrant and active musical environment which connects all of us despite the continents.

Music As Culture aims to provide a voice at a time when critical decisions affecting music, creativity and copyright are being made, usually from a purely commercial point of view. On the contrary, there are rare moments when musicians come together to touch something sweeter than they’ve ever found before in rehearsals, beyond the merely collaborative or technically proficient, when their expression becomes as easy and graceful as friendship or love. This is when they give us a glimpse of what we might be, of our best selves, and of an impossible world in which you give everything you have to others, but lose nothing of yourself.

Out in the real world there exist detailed plans, visionary projects for peaceable realms, all conflicts resolved, happiness for everyone, for ever - mirages for which people are prepared to die and kill. Though such high moments may be as transient as the passing notes of fine music.
