This video is to bring you a closer look at the Pemko 3452GNB Gold Anodized Aluminum Door Bottom Sweep - Nylon Brush insert.
The 3452 represents that this is a door sweep with an integrated drip cap.
The 'G' stands for the gold finish.
The 'NB' stands for the nylon brush insert.
There is an image below this video showing everything important dimensionally about this item.
The extrusion itself is an 1-1/4".
The brush underneath the drip cap is 3/8".
The projection is 1/2".
If you're mounting this on the push side of an in-swinging door and if you run the door sweep the entire width of the door you will have to cope your drip cap around the stop of the frame.
This sweep is available in several different finishes on the website.
Screws are included (painted to match).
This is also available in several different lengths on the website as well.
If you have need for a custom length by all means let us know by ordering the next longest piece or pieces and indicating in the comment section what size you'd like for us to cut the material back to.
The reason for that is if you had to cut this 30" piece down to 28", you'd be very close to eliminating that slotted hole and be forced to drill another one.
It is tough to drill a slotted hole especially if you've not used a center punch.
Slotted holes are nice to have because they allow you to have some vertical adjustment once on the door (helps compensate for an sill that is not level or a door that is not hung plum).
If you order a custom length not only will we locate the holes in the proper location, but also the proper center to center as well.
