In a heart-wrenching incident, 34-year-old Sakshi Ahuja lost her life while embarking on a family holiday. As she reached New Delhi Railway Station to catch a train to Chandigarh via the Vande Bharat Express, she was electrocuted after coming into contact with an electric pole for support amidst heavy waterlogging near the gate. Delhi Police have filed a complaint under bailable sections, and Sakshi's husband has highlighted multiple security lapses in the area. The delayed arrival of an ambulance forced the family to transport the victim in a private vehicle. The incident has once again raised concerns about negligence and safety measures.
