The West Bengal Medical Council has revoked the registration of Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Currently in CBI custody, Ghosh has been removed from the list of registered medical practitioners under the Bengal Medical Act of 1914, barring him from practicing as an orthopaedic surgeon.
