Today marks the 100th anniversary of Qantas airlines.
The company was first created in the wake of World War One when two pilots returned to outback Queensland in 1920, at the end of a global pandemic.
The airline was first registered as Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services.
To celebrate the milestone, 100 long-term pilots have been selected to join a 100-minute scenic flight over Sydney tonight.
Qantas CEO Alan Joyce says the Flying Kangaroo will make more history when the air travel gets back to full capacity after the coronavirus outbreak.
