Damodar Rajanarsimha, deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh embarrassed the Congress party by demanding CM Kiran Kumar Reddy's resignation. He opined that Kiran resigning was a more amenable way of settling the matter than forcing him to quit. He went on to add that the CM had lost the faith of his cabinet and therefore he had no moral right to continue in office.
