Weather: ☀️sunny with blue skies
From: Ardmhor ferry terminal
Start time: alarm at 6am - ⛴ferry at 7am to Eriskay.
To: just before Howmore
End time: 8.15pm
Accommodation: wild camping ⛺️ tent
Terrain: lots of road walking, lots of walking along beaches and lots of walking through tracks on farmland.

🥾Miles: 18.7 miles
🦶Steps: 38,539
🏔 Ascent: 150 m

💰Costs: ⛴ferry £3.60
hot chocolate £2.80 & scrambled eggs on toast £4.40 + 50p tip

Subjective feeling out of 10 on:
Enjoyment: 8/10 – Incredible views, incredible blue skies, incredible white sandy beaches.

Drinking a gin and tonic at the end and having some salty crisps was perfect.

Fatigue: 5/10 - for some reason my pack is really hurting my shoulders. I haven’t had this before. And this was the @ospreypack that I wore on the Wales Coast Path.

ready to get into my tent at the end of the day. Really feeling tired and ready to have a good sleep 💤 Although the ground is a little bit slanted!

Ease of terrain: 4/10

Highlights - Beautiful white beaches - making it across more islands (along the causeways) - Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist and Berneray.

Challenges - walking on the beautiful white beaches. Walking on sand is hard. Stilll feeling really tired towards the end of the day.

We were aiming to do 21 miles but it just wasn’t going to happen.

🏕We found a wild camping area by the sea which was relatively flat and we just decided to stop.

We covered 18.5 miles. Which was a really good distance.
