Whatta bunch'a joka's! ...Sorry, not sorry.
Anyway, we run around Tephra cave for a bit doing sidequests before moving on with the plot. The Mechon attack, some things happen, the Mechon leave, and then so do Shulk and Reyn. We head back to Tephra cave, do a couple more sidequests, and then Reyn gets kidnapped by some gross spiders. Shulk hurries to save Reyn and we finally get introduced to the coolest mechanic in the game — visions! We step out onto the Bionis' Knee and try out Time Attack Mode, which is a new edition to the game for the Definitive Edition. We stomp the yard and then move on to Bionis' Leg, one of the most iconic areas in the entire game. We avoid Territorial Rotbart (whom they gave an increased draw distance, thank GOD) and get to meet our next party member, Sharla! Sharla isn't that great, but I love her anyway, so I make an effort to play as her for the next bit of the game. We then go right back to doing sidequests because that's all this game really is anyway.
This is a 100% play-through of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch! That includes both the main game and the new Epilogue — Future Connected. This play-through of XC:DE is completely spoiler-free, so please refrain from spoilers in the comments! The first couple episodes still have potato quality, but it gets better in the later episodes, I promise.
