The Millon Adolescent Clinical Inventory®️-II (MACI-II) was developed and standardized with a large normative sample (1100 subjects) in multiple clinical settings, including juvenile justice/corrections (JJC) settings. Over the past 25 years or so, a substantial literature base, founded on studies from around the globe, has documented connections between exposure to adverse childhood experiences and trauma symptoms in adolescents who are seen in various JJC settings. This one-hour webinar presents intriguing findings between JJC subjects in comparison to matched controls from the overall MACI-II normative sample. A particular focus is on how the MACI-II assesses trauma symptoms within the context of an adolescent’s emerging personality type. Many of these findings appear to be consistent with what has been reported in the literature. An illustrative case highlights key points.
