According to a UN report, some Gazans who have been released from Israeli prisons have reported severe mistreatment. Though some Israelis have been critical of Israel's historically comfortable prison conditions since October 7, this doesn't excuse prisoner abuse. Thankfully, Israel also has a good track record of taking these kinds of claims seriously, and it intends to investigate all cases.
