Convert an ordinary zip-lock bag into a pastry bag. Chef Remy's Video Kitchen Tip shows how he filled cannolis recently. Whether you lost your pastry bag or just want to skip the washing chore, you can simply fill a zip-lock bag with pastry filling, lock it shut, and snip off a corner of the bag. Simply throw the bag away when finished. If required, it is possible to fit a pastry bag tip, such as a STAR TIP. The video shows this being done as well. The big advantages are: 1) no washing, drying, or storing. 2) avoid mold 3) good control with no leaking 4) use pint, quart, or gallon zip bags.
