A day trip to Starnberg See.
Easily accessible from Munich Central Station (HBF). Train S6 direction to Tutzing and stop at Starnberg station. Next is just a short walk to the lake.
Large area to have a picnic, kids will love it with the beautiful playground and water lovers there is ferry and boat rides available for a decent price.
Few food outlet nearby.
We enjoyed the short getaway not far from home.
There is more to see especially to venture into the small town, beautiful view from the church above with a small garden facing the lake.
