A Burmese #python stretching 19 feet, believed to be longest ever recorded, was captured and killed by Florida #snake hunters this week.

Twenty-two-year-old Jake Waleri and friends wrangled the snake at the state's Big Cypress National Preserve.

Officials at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida later confirmed it had set a new world record for length at 19 feet. (Reuters) #news #voanews
