Gyanvapi Masjid adjacent to the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir in Varanasi is at the centre of a multi-layered legal battle. A Varanasi court directed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to probe the structure of the Gyanvapi Masjid. The Survey team has reached the place and both the parties are involved in a verbal battle there. Watch out.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple V/s Gyanvapi Mosque: काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर और ज्ञानवापी मस्जिद विवाद का मामला 1991 में अदालत पहुंचा था. हिंदू पक्ष का कहना है कि मंदिर को तोड़कर वहां मस्जिद बनाई गई है, इसलिए वो जमीन हिंदुओं को वापस दी जानी चाहिए.
