Well , after the inauguration of extended Rajya Rani , it was time to have a look at what is happening in WR . I was eagerly waiting for the inauguration of Ahmedabad Tejas Express and the day is finally here .

Seen here is 09426 Ahmedabad Junction - Mumbai Central TEJAS EXPRESS led by 37112 Vadodara (BRC : WR) WAP 7

This train is operated by Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation i.e. IRCTC while the Coaches and crew are provided by Indian Railways . This is the second private train of India , again operated by IRCTC . After the inaugural of New Delhi - Lucknow TEJAS last year , this was supposed to be inaugurated in this month . Although it is operated by IRCTC , not all the functions of this trains are under the private player . There is a proper distribution of work between Indian Railways and IRCTC . In future , our Railway Minister Piyush Goyal is aiming to introduce more such privatized trains on the Indian Railways Network .

Well , I felt the number of coaches are a bit less , thinking the Karmali Tejas has more coaches than this . But anyways , numbers do not matter . It's the quality and not quantity which is more valued .
