Documentary explores the Japanese submarine I-52, sunk by Allied planes on June 23, 1944 during WWII. Lost in the depths of the mid-Atlantic for half a century, this Japanese submarine carrying cargo and gold was on its way to German-occupied France. The progam includes two dives to the bottom of the sea to recover the lost cargo and to document the sunken submarine.
