Ingredients:
1 egg
40 grams of sugar (3 tablespoons)
Sunflower oil 40 ml (3 tablespoons)
1 pinch of salt
120 ml milk (40-45 °C) (1/2 cup)
1 tablespoon of instant dry yeast (4 grams)
300 grams of all-purpose flour (2, 1/2 cups)
1 egg
1.4 oz of sugar
1.4 oz of sunflower oil
1 pinch of salt
4.05 fl oz of milk (40-45°C)
0.14 oz of instant dry yeast (1 tablespoon)
10.58 oz of all-purpose flour
1. In a bowl, mix 1 egg, 40 grams (1/4 cup) of sugar, 40 ml (3 tablespoons) of sunflower oil, a pinch of salt, 120 ml (1/2 cup) of milk at 40-45 °C (105-115 °F), and 1 tablespoon of instant dry yeast (4 grams).
2. Add the flour gradually while mixing until the dough comes together
3.Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a clean bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rest for 1-1.5 hours in a warm place until it doubles in size.
5. Divide the dough into 6 to 8 equal parts.
6.Open each ball of dough with your hands and fill with Nutella chocolate.
7. Tie the dough tightly so that the chocolate does not fall out during baking.
8. Place the buns on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover them with a towel, and let them rest for another 20 minutes.
9.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
10. Mix together 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of milk and brush it over the buns.
11. Bake for 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven until they turn golden brown.
12. Let them cool on a wire rack.
13. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
