King Charles III has welcomed Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to his “second home” in the UK during the State Banquet at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. The British monarch praised the “special bond” of the relations between the two countries and said the UK is proud to be Qatar’s oldest friend in the West.
