hey friends!
so this summer i was blessed to be able to return to the town Kunming in #china where i grew up in.
this was a really special video to make for me as it was the first time going back since my family and I returned in 2020 at the peak of #covid19
for the older followers, some of these places are probably familiar to you and therefore i hope you are able to travel down memory lane with me during these 30 minutes.
i know it is a bit longer than most of the videos i've been uploading recently, but there was no way i could've capture all the emotion and feelings given only 15 minutes or so.
so for the new viewers, i hope you guys enjoy this video and experiencing a bit of the place i called home for 18 years of my life before moving back to Singapore.
that is the thing about being a third culture kid (growing up somewhere outside of your home country), there is never really a place you can call home, but rather it's the family and community you find in those places that make it mean so much more to you.
