I deleted my last video on the Nightfox Prowl as it was using old firmware.
The 1.27 update seems to have improved the issues in the older versions.
It is certainly not as laggy as before.
To quickly summarise I think it is a very good device when you consider the price. I did not need to use the full power of the IR light around the neighbourhood. The audio you hear is from the device itself. It is quite lightweight.
The only niggles I find is that it records in .avi and not .mp4 and that the dovetail mount for a helmet seems a bit flimsy.
*UPDATE* There is now firmware version 1.28 available. This version allows users to optimise the prowl for reduced lag or low light performance (without IR).
