Vishu katta is a traditional vishu Special breakfast recipe mostly prepared in central Kerala especially Thrissur. It has got many variations in preparation. Vishu katta is best served with jaggery syrup or curry especially raw mango curry.
INGREDIENTS:
Raw white rice- 2 glasses ( soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Thick coconut milk ( first coconut milk) - 2 glasses
Thin coconut milk ( second coconut milk) - 8 glasses
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
