If we want to find drugs to slow down aging in our lifetime, first we have to find an animal model with fast (and cheap) turnaround, which can be scaled in a standard and repeatable way to every lab or enthusiast across the globe.
In this episode I visit Harvard Medical School and talk with Leon Peshkin, systems biologist, about such system.
This platform, called Smart Tanks and is based on Daphnia which live in a standardized aquariums built according to a blueprint:

It is very cheap, easy to start with and can be scaled to a bigger setups easily.
If we are after the radical life extension, living to 150 or 1000 years old, we all have to participate and help!

This channels is designed around the idea that we all have a good chance to live to and past 100 by doing these two things:
1) Small, 80/20 (easy, but smart) consistent lifestyle changes and
2) Banding together to support each other and to cause ripple through scientific and political scene.
It's a long journey, but the sooner we start it, the better our chances.
