This video was made to show that when you tweaked the Athleticism ratings in NBA Live 09, the it affected the animation. The lower the ratings, the slower the animation. The reason you would want to slow down the animation in NBA Live is because most of the animations looked awkward, or too fast, similar to a sling shot or torpedo, tweaking the ratings that affected the animations to a lower rating made the animations look more realistic.

So if there's a problem with next gen with those types of unrealistic animations, the root of the problem may lie in the ratings. The more in depth the ratings are, they should make them available to edit to see if that's the case
